about

Rio Night Assembly are a Rio de Janeiro band playing samba, funk, and carnival-adjacent originals without turning the room into a costume party. Private parties, hotel ballrooms, and festival dance tents.

technical setup

Stage 6m by 4m. Full drum and percussion mic set, two brass mics, bass DI, guitar amp. Three monitors. Soundcheck 40 minutes. They need a solid floor for dancing percussionists, not a springy riser. Outdoor stages need a roof. Power: dedicated circuit for percussion DI box and amps. Surdo cases need a ramp, not stairs only.

Hotel Gloria · 4 out of 5
Ballroom energy without chaos. Give them a ramp for the cases; the rider says so and it matters.
