The Marlowe Strings are an Edinburgh quartet booking weddings and civic rooms across the UK. Ceremony, drinks, and dinner are priced as separate calls so you do not pay quartet rates for background music you do not need.
technical setup
Four chairs without arms and a flat floor. Music stands are carried. No PA for ceremonies under 150 people in a lively acoustic. Larger rooms or outdoors need four small condensers and a quiet PA. 3m by 2m. They need 15 minutes to tune after arrival, out of guest earshot if possible. Weather cover is mandatory outdoors. No amplified bands on the same stage without a changeover gap.
